ABBEY STEIN
SENIOR, HUNTER COLLEGE
Abbey is currently a senior at Hunter College majoring in Clinical Psychology. She is a member of the Thomas Hunter Honors Program with a mini concentration in Philosophy. In the CHiC lab, Abbey is completing her senior honors thesis on the unmet social support needs of parents who are caretakers for their young adult children with cancer. She intends on continuing to do research on therapeutic interventions for caregivers prior to pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
AYSHA KHAN
SENIOR, HUNTER COLLEGE
Aysha is a fourth-year student at Hunter College, majoring in Clinical Psychology. Prior to the CHiC lab, she completed an honors thesis on the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and menopausal symptoms. In the CHiC Lab, she is studying the moderating role of a collectivist mindset on the relationship between ACEs and mental health. After her undergraduate studies, Aysha plans on pursuing a PsyD in clinical psychology.
ISABEL RODRIGUEZ
SENIOR, HUNTER COLLEGE
Isabel is a Senior at Hunter College majoring in Health Psychology and minoring in Sociology. She has particular interest in socio-economic health disparities and women's health. During her time at CHiC lab, she hopes to strengthen her research skills as well as gain a broader understanding of how cultural identity impacts health outcomes and coping. Following graduation, she intends to pursue a Masters of Public Health with a focus in Biostatistics.
KARINA SPIVAK
JUNIOR, HUNTER COLLEGE
Karina is a Junior at Hunter College majoring in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Child Development. She is joining the CHiC lab with eagerness to broaden her understanding across age groups. Her goal is to learn how to conduct and stay current with research, enhancing her future as a Child Psychologist. Karina envisions pursuing a PsyD in Child Psychology, aiming to contribute to evidence-based practices and make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.
