Sugandha Gupta received her PhD in 2023. Her dissertation examined social and cultural predictors of physical activity among South Asian immigrants. She is currently completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University in the T32 Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine Program.

Irina Mindlis received her PhD in 2023. Her dissertation examined the role of illness intrusiveness and contextual factors in adjustment to multimorbidity among older adults. Irina completed her clinical internship at Mount Sinai Services/Elmhurst Hospital. Currently, Irina is a postdoctoral associate in Behavioral Geriatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine’s Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine.

Aliza Panjwani received her PhD in 2020. Her dissertation examined the mediating and moderating roles of intrapersonal & interpersonal factors in the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty, emotional distress, and advanced care planning among individuals with Stage III & Stage IV cancer. Aliza is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and a Clinician Investigator at the Princess Margaret Cancer Center.
